Calculate Shipping Rates with DHL

We understand the importance of incorporating features that allow you to increase efficiency and build customer confidence when completing a purchase. That’s why we’ve developed an integration in Jumpseller that will allow you to connect your store with DHL Express’s shipping cost estimator.

To access this service, it’s very important that you already have an active account with DHL. You can find out more about how to obtain one from a DHL account executive or through the portal (https://mydhl.express.dhl/).

To obtain the credentials, you can contact your agent (the DHL agent will internally communicate that you need “XML API credentials”) or get them by registering.

Once registered, you should go to DHL Express OnBoarding and indicate that it’s an integration for Jumpseller tracking:

Once you’ve filled out that form and DHL validates the request, a technician will send you the credentials by email when they’re available.

Shipping Cost Calculator with DHL

1. Go to your store’s Administration Panel > Settings > Shipping
2. Go to the add method section and from the list, choose DHL Express:
3. Once clicked, all available services will appear. We’ll talk about them in the next step, please continue the configuration by adding the origin address, that is, where the package will be shipped from (**You must know your postal code, please have it on hand). Add the credentials previously provided by DHL. **Note: The price variation is optional.
4. Now, you need to activate the corresponding services that you want to use to estimate shipments in your store. IMPORTANT: These services depend on the credentials provided by DHL and your country of origin, as certain services may be available in Chile for example but not in Colombia. Please define these services with your executive and activate them in your panel.

In Colombia, the commonly used services are N - EXPRESS DOMESTIC and P - EXPRESS WORLDWIDE. The other services sometimes have extra fees.

1. Once this is done, click on Save.

NOTE: For now, this integration is only available to offer shipping cost estimates, it is not possible to generate automated labels, this is processed from your DHL platform as you have been doing commonly.
