Video

This component allows you to display a video several sources, like for example YouTube, Vimeo or through a URL on which there’s a video hosted.

The options for you to customize it are the following:

Type

Here you can choose which type of video will be uploaded, which will display the respective field on which you will need to paste what’s required:

Embed video

When choosing this, you will need to copy and paste the Embed code from platforms such as Youtube or Vimeo, which can be often obtained through an option called Share.

Video URL

When choosing this, you will only need to copy and paste the URL of any video, which can be from the platforms mentioned above, as well as any other URL that contains a video. This can be if you have a video uploaded on a domain, like for example: www.my-domain.com/video.mp4.

You will also see other options become visible that allow you to configure certain aspects of this type of video:

  • Controls: Whether video controls should be displayed, e.g. play, pause.
  • Autoplay: Whether video should start playing automatically on page load.
  • Muted: Whether video should start with no audio.
  • Loop: Whether video should loop, meaning, start playing again once it ends.

Adjust Video width

This option will become visible once you add a video through the respective field on any of the Type options mentioned above.

When enabled, the following two options will also be displayed:

Width

Allows to define the width that the video will have, based on the following:

  • Small: Sets the video width to 50% of the available space.
  • Medium: Sets the video width to approximately 66% of the available space.
  • Large: Sets the video width to approximately 83% of the available space.

When this option is disabled, the video will stretch to occupy the full width of the section.

Horizontal position

Allows to define the position of the video on the horizontal axis.


Ratio

Allows you to define the dimension in which the video will be adapted and displayed.


Appearance

This group contains the following options to customize the component:

  • Width: Allows to define the maximum width that the component will stretch to the browser window. You can read more about how this option will affect the component on this page.
  • Top margin: Allows to control the upper margin of the section.
  • Bottom margin: Allows to control the lower margin of the section.
  • Content colors: Allows to choose the Color Pack for the component.
