Menu

This component allows you to create a “secondary layer” of navigation to your theme, by adding links that can be useful or interesting for your clients to be aware of.

Some things that are useful for you to know are:

• If offers just one level of items, meaning, it doesn’t provide the ability to have or create dropdown menus like it happens with the Main menu that’s placed on the Header of the theme.
• It’s not related to any Menu that’s available within Customization > Navigation in your store’s admin panel.

Component settings

When adding it you will find several options to customize it, which are explained next.

Alignment

You will find two options to define the alignment of the content (items) of the component, for both desktop and mobile devices.

Show as button

Allows to apply a button style to all component’s items.

When enabled the Style option will become visible, for you to choose between Main and Secondary, which are the button styles from the component’s Color pack.

Appearance

This group contains the following options to customize the component:

• Top margin: allows to control the upper margin of the section.
• Bottom margin: allows to control the lower margin of the section.
• Content colors: allows to choose the Color Pack for the component. This will affect the color of the titles if Overlap titles is disabled.

Animations

The Customize options allows to adjust the animations for this specific component. You can read which ones are available on this page.

Subcomponent settings

The component works by using a subcomponent called Item, for which you can add as many as you like.

It has the following options for you to customize it.

Link

Here you need to choose a link for the item, which can be for example a category, product, page, among others.

Once you choose it, all the options below will become visible.

Text

Defines the text that will be displayed on the item.

External link

If enabled, the link will open in a new browser tab.

Icon

Allows to add an icon that will be displayed at the left side of the item’s text.

Badge

This group of options allow you to add a badge or “label”, along with the item’s text, which can be useful to feature some of them.

By enabling the Show option it will be displayed, as well as the following options that will become visible:

• Text: text that will be displayed within the badge.
• Background: defines the color of the badge’s background. The color of the text will adjust automatically to have a proper contrast.
• Position: defines the position in which the badge will be displayed.
