Blocks

In Jumpseller themes, Blocks are individual elements that can be added to a component to display content and generate visually appealing layouts for your storefront. Each block serves a specific purpose and comes with its own set of options to help you build and structure your content exactly the way you want.

Below you can find the entire list of blocks currently available, along with their options and how you can use them.

Note: For now these blocks are only available to be used in the Showcase component, but we will extend their use in the future.

Title

Allows you to add a Title element and contains options for you to customize its styles.

You can find a detailed explanation for each one in this article.

When used in certain components the field will be empty, since the default value will be automatically displayed depending on the context, such as:

  • In a page, the page title will be displayed.
  • In a category, the category name will be displayed.
  • In a page category, the page category name will be displayed.

Text

Allows you to add a custom text, as well as choosing its size based on predefined options, or defining a custom one.

Allows you to add a link to any content of the store, such as categories, products, pages, among others. It contains the following options to customize its style as well as its behavior:

Link

Mandatory. Choose the content you want this element to link to upon click.

Text

Text that will be displayed inside the link.

External link

If enabled, the link will open in a new browser tab.

Show arrow

Displays an arrow icon next to the link text.

Show as button

This option allows you to make the link look like a button. When enabled, the following options will become visible:

  • Type: allows to choose between the Main and Secondary style connected to the Color pack in which this element is used.
  • Outline style: the button will be presented with a border around it. If disabled, the button will have a filled background color.

Subtitle

This element is often added and displayed alongside a Title block, as its size is usually smaller. Regardless, you can customize it to look however you prefer and define its position.

You will also find other styling options like the ones detailed in this article.

Description

This block shares the same style as a Text block, but its difference lies in the behavior and content that will be displayed.

It should only be used in components where it will automatically display a description for:

  • A category, where the category description content will be displayed.
  • A page, where the page body content will be displayed.
  • A page category, where the page category body content will be displayed.

If added somewhere where there’s no description to be displayed, the block won’t be shown at all.

You can customize its size in the same way as with other blocks.
